The Procedure
Incision
A tiny incision of about 1 centimeter is made in the front of the ear.
Lifting
The SMAS tissue is lifted and gently pulled in the desired direction to tighten.
Suturing & Recovery
Sutures are applied. You can return to normal activities after stitch removal (1-2 weeks).
PREPARATION & CARE
Safety & Considerations
To ensure a safe procedure and smooth recovery, please note:
- Smoking: Discontinue smoking for 2-3 weeks before and after the surgery.
- Medication: Do not take blood thinners for two weeks prior to the surgery.
- Follow-up: You will visit our clinic 3-4 times in total for monitoring.
Our experienced team is careful not to extend surgery into the layers of the face that control facial movement. Temporary weakness due to swelling or bruising may occur, and any scarring will typically fade over time.
